Biographies

William D. Mac Donald (Dave)

       President 

         Dave MacDonald grew up around his father’s bulk plants and oil delivery business, which serviced Northeastern Indiana.  Today Dave is President of MacDonald Oil as well as Prevent A Spill, Inc.  This entrepreneur attended Indiana University where he studied marketing and business administration.  He is also a founding member and co-owner of both Huntington Screw Machine and Thermo-ray Industries and a Regional Director with PEI. 

Dave started Prevent A Spill to market the unique ideas he developed for his own oil business.  He prides himself on practical simple solutions for today’s environmental challenges.

Joseph D. Bishop, PE (Joe)

       Vice-President

Joe Bishop, chief engineer for Prevent A Spill, is a graduate of Purdue University, with engineering degrees in Civil Engineering and Land Survey Engineering.  He has twenty-three years experience as a Professional Engineer and is licensed in Indiana and Ohio.  As Owner of Bishop Engineering & Development, Joe is a consulting engineer and is a specialist in land planning and land development. He has done extensive work in drainage and site design.  He was a gas utility engineer for six years and also has designed many offices, apartment complexes, restaurants and commercial buildings.

          Joe has been involved with Prevent A Spill since 2003.
